Digital Delivery is a new function within Volvo Group Digital & IT. It has the ambition to identify and execute on new digital initiatives in tight collaboration with TD/BAs and Group Functions as well as modernize and transform our existing solutions into products and to secure agile ways of working across the whole Digital Delivery function.

Together with our digital talents, we will work on solution design and deliveries to improve business performance and create value at scale for Volvo Group. Included in our mission is to drive an efficient Volvo Group Digital & IT interface and Portfolio Management for the TD/BAs and Group Functions.

API & Integration

We are a small, experienced team responsible for the Business Data Integration Platform at Penta. We have the end-to-end responsibility for both new development and runtime, which provides great opportunities to grow. We work close with our stakeholders to improve their daily work.

Your Mission If You Accept It

• Senior Scrum Master
• Able to coach and mentor the team (Process, tools, activities)
• Support decision taken by creating measures and estimations
• Document the solutions / processes
• Participate to Volvo Scrum community and events
• Support Agile/Cross functional collaboration
• Be involved in developing new API´s
• Support users by explaining system capabilities, handling questions, and solving incidents Analyze user problems in areas of responsibility and support business users with efficient usage of the API’s
• Identify actual and potential software problems
• Follow recommended Ways of Working with Incident and knowledge Management systems for reporting and tracking
• Propose changes and improvement activities that make the application more efficient and/or reduce operation or maintenance cost
• Participate and contribute to the planning of application maintenance and enhancement activities
• Identify the scope of automation in repetitive tasks
• Contribute actively to relevant D & IT communities and bodies with respect to process improvements & best practice sharing
• Promote and practice forward-leaning development approaches.

Must have

• Minimum 5 years of total IT experience
• Minimum 3+ years of .NET cloud development
• Minimum 2 year of Scrum Master experience
• Hands-on experience in code repository / CI&CD including GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitLab and other
• Experience with Azure DevOps for streamlined development and deployment.
• Proven track record of Azure implementation in new solutions.
• Understanding of containerization technologies like Kubernetes
• Exposure to cloud solutions such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of SQL Server/Azure DB
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
• Focus on continuous code improvements to optimize performance and optimize solutions for maximum speed
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Proficient in Microservice Architecture
• Proficient in unit/integration testing and/or Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Strong understanding and application of S.O.L.I.D principles.
• Skillful in writing clean, scalable, and testable code.
• Capable of reviewing and refactoring code efficiently.
• Scrum Master experience in an IT environment
• Professional skills – certification is a must (PSM 2 / SAFe Scrum Master at least)
• DevOps knowledge
• Advanced Communication Skills including the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Basic Agile Coaching (Scrum Basic, Agile Basic)
• Good understanding the (business) processes and requirements

Nice to have

• Proficiency in SonarQube or similar code quality platforms.
• Familiarity with code quality analysis tools like SonarQube or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with IBM middleware and integration platforms (WebSphere, MQ, and API Connect)
• Expertise in ASP.NET MVC and Web API development
• Browser testing, troubleshooting, and debugging
