Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within our small team to design, develop, and maintain our poker backend using Java
• Implement new features and functionalities to enhance the user experience
• Optimize code for performance and scalability to ensure smooth gameplay
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth gameplay experience
• Contribute to the overall creative process and provide valuable insights for game improvement

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices
• Team player with good communication skills
• Written and spoken conversational English

• Understanding of poker rules, strategies and player dynamics
• Interest in creating and playing games in general
• Relevant working experience with OOP languages
• Experience in developing poker-related software

This role is placed in Malmö, Sweden. The Relax game studio in Malmö is perfectly located on Lilla torg, right in the middle of the beautiful old parts of Malmö. It’s a five-minute walk from the central station and all types of shopping and restaurants can be found right on our doorstep.
