Assignment description:

As a back-end software developer in an agile development team, you play a crucial role in crafting the back-end solution for data collection and measurement functionalities. Your responsibilities include developing robust backend software tailored for cloud deployment. This encompasses creating server applications in Java, which interact with vehicles through a REST API. Additionally, you'll be leveraging Apache Spark and Scala to construct a Big Data backend, enabling the efficient processing of data from millions of vehicles. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and collaborative skills to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the backend systems.

Required skills:

- Proficiency in Agile methodologies, demonstrating flexibility and efficiency in a fast-paced development environment.

- Expertise in Java programming, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

- Experience with Git for version control, showcasing an understanding of best practices in code collaboration and management.

- Familiarity with Spring Boot, which is essential for developing high-performing, scalable backend applications.
