Senior Python Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Programming scalable and maintainable software
• Monitoring and maintaining the existing software
• Working collaboratively with the full cross-functional team
• Being involved in the company's targets and goals
• Being part of architecting technical solutions
• Keeping yourself up to speed with technology

Requirements

• 5+ years developing cloud based backend applications
• 2+ years developing software in Django (Python)
• 1+ years creating, using and maintaining relational databases
• 1+ years deploying container based applications
• Hands-on experience administrating applications in AWS
• Experience designing and maintaining REST APIs
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD
• Thorough test coverage and code reviews
• Strong communication, collaboration and documentation skills
• Solution driven with ability to understand the big picture
• Fluent written and spoken English

Nice to have

• Experience with Github Actions (CI/CD)
• Experience with AWS CloudWatch
• Experience with Open Banking
• Experience with Sentry
• Experience using Agile methodologies
