Head of UX & Design

Role Summary:

We are looking for a Head of UX & Design to lead our efforts in delivering an exceptional user experience. This role is a unique blend of strategic leadership and hands-on design, requiring a passion for crafting user-friendly interfaces and a deep understanding of UX principles, particularly in the context of technical and data rich applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a compelling UX strategy that aligns with CodeScene’s vision, enhancing our product's usability and appeal.
• Lead and grow the UX & Design team, fostering a culture of innovation and design excellence.
• Participate actively in UX/UI design initiatives, setting high standards for quality and innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing, to seamlessly integrate design and functionality.
• Conduct focused user research and usability testing, especially catering to the unique needs of developers.
• Advocate for user-centered design approaches throughout the company.

Qualifications:

• Significant experience in leading UX and design teams, ideally in the tech or software industry.
• Solid understanding of UX principles, particularly for data-intensive and technical applications.
• A portfolio that demonstrates expertise in creating engaging, user-friendly interfaces.
• Proficiency in contemporary UX/UI design tools and methodologies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Strategic mindset with a detail-oriented approach to execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the field of code analysis, developer tools, or similar areas.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and the challenges faced by developers.
