Senior Software Engineer (DevOps)

- Become a member of a diverse, collaborative, skilled and high performed IT team where you will participate in building competence and relationships with your team colleagues and stakeholders

- Contribute to the development and implementation of Swedbank’s vision and strategic direction

- Together with a cross functional team, stakeholders, and other product owners building a stable and modern application

What is needed in this role:

- Strong software engineering skills

- 5+ years of professional experience in Java

- Working knowledge of relational databases

- Experience with modern development frameworks and knowledge of microservices architecture

- Good data modelling skills

- Understanding of messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, MQ) is a plus

- Experience in typescript and JavaScript is a bonus

- Excellent team player mentality: truly believe that success is something we build together

- Great communication skills with a drive to collaborate cross borders and in a virtual team

- A problem solver with a positive can-do attitude

- Understanding in Pega platform is valuable

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent, or a great reason for not having one…

- Mobile apps: Kotlin, Swift

- Pega platform

- Dev. environment: Jenkins, GIT, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Gradle, any of - Eclipse, WebStorm, IntelliJ, VS Code

- Monitoring & visualization: AppDynamics, Grafana

- Other: Jira, Confluence (wiki), MS Teams
