Do you want to be a part of building Scania Workshop Suite, SWS, the next-generation workshop tool used to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and update Scania trucks and buses?

We are now seeking a developer/tester for one of our feature teams who wants to help us on this journey.

Our services and products are used 24/7 by more than 15.000 technicians in Scania’s global service network to keep the rolling stock of more than 800.000 vehicles up and running all the time.

SWS is in the cloud, AWS, microservice architecture, .NET core C#, Java, NodeJS, Angular frontend and so much more tech, you´ll like it!

What?

· You will be a team member, your main role will be QA of the features delivered

· You will also together with other testers ensure the quality of the entire SWS

How?

As a part of the team, you are involved from start to finish, ensuring quality in all steps. This means testing, manually and automated, regression testing in build pipelines, recreating reported issues, "git clone sws-ecu-update" and starting digging and involving your team. You do this on your laptop, rigs and real trucks; yes we have our own workshop!

You are also setting up monitoring and, after release, making sure it works for the users. Any issues found, are fixed before we get the first trouble report.

At work you will come into contact with Scania's core, nitty gritty details, R&D tooling, CI/CD in Gitlab, Python and a lot more stuff.

Who?

· You are brave, flexible, creative, great at collaboration

· You have an innate sense of quality, but you are also a fan of the 80/20 rule

· You have a developer background of some sort

· You want to focus on QA

· You have no problems getting your hands dirty, taking on any issue at hand

· I value drive, passion and commitment, the rest you'll learn here

Me?

With me as your manager, you get the x-developer still missing coding but finding equal satisfaction in seeing people grow and to give our users the premium tool they are longing for. I help out by answering the questions what? and why? but I leave the how to you. Three words describe me; pragmatic, transparent and supporting.

At Scania, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles! We hire for attitude and train for skills.

What we offer

We can offer you a dynamic workplace with diverse and challenging tasks in a hybrid work setup, meaning you can work from home a few days a week if the job allows. We can also provide you with an individual development plan that you create together with your manager, so you can reach your goals and receive the right support along the way.

In addition to career and development opportunities, as an employee at Scania, we can offer you other benefits such as free training at Scania's health center Gröndal or wellness allowance, performance bonuses, occupational pension, flexible working hours, lunch at a reduced price, the opportunity for a staff car and much more.

Scania also organizes several events throughout the year where family and friends are always welcome, which is usually highly appreciated by everyone. If you live in Stockholm, we also offer a direct bus service between Stockholm and Södertälje with Scania Jobexpress.
