Role overview:

As a Data Scientist at FairAIData, you'll be instrumental in advancing our machine learning capabilities.

You'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, developing algorithms and deriving insights from extensive datasets. This role is uniquely positioned at the intersection of startup initiatives and collaborative research projects with Linköping university, ideal for those eager to make a tangible impact in the tech world. We are seeking a passionate and driven developer with a focus on machine learning, statistics, data analysis, and data cleaning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine data analysis algorithms, with a focus on real-world applications.
• Apply machine learning techniques to derive insights from large datasets.
• Implement state-of-the-art statistical models to support data-driven decision-making processes.
• Integrate machine learning models into broader systems, working alongside diverse teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in machine learning, data cleaning, data analysis, and statistical modelling.
• Proficient in Python, including libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Strong ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Desirable skills:

• Familiarity with SQL and database management systems.
• Prior experience or collaboration in academic or research settings.
