As a full-stack developer at AFRY, Group IT, you'll play a crucial role in our agile development team, dedicated to crafting top-tier IT solutions in a modern platform for our supported process area. Your responsibilities will span both maintenance and new development tasks. We foster a collaborative, team-based approach, and you'll closely collaborate with diverse competencies including business analysis, solution architecture, testing, and fellow developers. This team supports and develop mostly our HR-systems within AFRY.

Immerse yourself in a Microsoft environment using Visual Studio, C#, and .NET, with a backend structured in a microservices architecture. Our scalable and flexible architecture relies exclusively on various Azure components. Additionally, we are actively involved in constructing AFRY's internal web platform, a Progressive Web App developed in .NET Core and React with Redux, catering to the needs of 19,000 employees. This position will be located in Sweden at our office in Gothenburg.

Qualifications

If you have a genuine passion for software development and hold a relevant post-secondary education in computer science, computer technology, system development, or a similar field, we want to hear from you.

Whether you're a junior or senior developer, a minimum of a few years of post-graduation work experience is preferred. Previous exposure to agile development methods is advantageous.

As a full-stack developer, we expect you to excel in backend challenges while also embracing usability and creating visually appealing end-products. Your ability to work independently and collaboratively, take personal responsibility, and influence outcomes is crucial. We value your capacity to see both details and holistic perspectives in problem-solving, and we encourage you to express and motivate your ideas confidently.

Must-have competencies:

• Higher education in computer science
• Excellent programming skills in Microsoft .Net Core, C#
• Experience in integrations (rest API technologies)
• Work experience in Entity Framework and Web API development
• React knowledge
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills
