What are we looking for?

The successful candidate will be responsible for working on various platforms and customer assignments, collaborating with other data scientists, enhancing existing applications, and researching, building, and implementing new solutions. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about leveraging knowledge and expertise to solve complex problems and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists to test and develop new algorithms across various platforms and customer assignments.
• Enhance existing applications and platforms to optimize performance and user experience.
• Research, build, and implement innovative data-driven solutions to address business challenges.
• Develop and analyze new data models to support data-driven decision-making.
• Apply optimization techniques to improve the efficiency of previous projects and processes.
• Analyze multi-variable data sets to extract insights and inform strategic decisions.
• Promote best practices in data science and share knowledge across the team.

Skills

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, C#, C/C++, Spark, Java/Scala).
• Experience with scientific computing (Matlab or R).
• Familiarity with big data processing tools (Spark, Hadoop, Dask).
• Knowledge of data science libraries and frameworks (Numpy, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scipy, Pandas).
• Experience with big data tools (Elasticsearch/Solr, Kafka) and ETL/ELT processes.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure tools, and AI/machine learning models.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and cleaning using tools (Pandas, Dplyr, or similar libraries).
• Experience with data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their data services.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Solid understanding of data engineering, data modeling, and multi-variable analysis.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required.
• Proficiency in Swedish is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Computer Vision using deep learning techniques.
• Familiarity with optimization algorithms and reinforcement learning.
• Background in deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
• Experience with data pipeline tools like Apache Airflow, Luigi, or Prefect.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
