Backend Developer

Svea Solar is on an exciting journey to connect your home to sustainable solar energy. Our mission is to power homes with solar panels, inverters, EV chargers, batteries, and smart meters for energy optimization, all seamlessly integrated into our user-friendly app. We're at the forefront of building our own Virtual Power Plant (VPP) that unites our customers to stabilize the Swedish electricity grid, facilitating a greener and more sustainable future. That is why we are looking for two Backend Developers to help build our VPP!

The Role:

As a Backend Developer, you will be a key player in designing and developing our platform for VPP. You'll collaborate closely with your dynamic team of engineers and domain experts to create cutting-edge software solutions that tackle complex challenges. Your responsibilities will include:

- Participating in the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment and ongoing maintenance.

- Contributing to code reviews, testing, and optimization to ensure the delivery of high-quality, high-performance software.

- Staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance our products.

If you also possess the following skills and experiences:

- Strong .NET programming skills

- Proven experience in working with cloud (we are using AWS)

- Good understanding of architecture style/API (REST or RPC)

- Proficient in Kubernetes and Docker

- Knowledge of web tech is a huge plus (we're working with React.js)
