DevOps Engineer

What we are looking for

As a DevOps Engineer at Dema, you'll face exciting challenges in a dynamic environment with mission-critical systems. This is an opportunity to work with technologies such as Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Grafana, Prometheus and AWS. You'll be at the forefront of designing, developing, and operating high-volume applications that are crucial to our rapidly expanding business.

What you will be doing

• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
• Implement custom dynamic scaling rules and add new nodes to Kubernetes clusters.
• Evaluate and propose enhancements to the existing system, including the integration of Prometheus for robust monitoring and Grafana for advanced data visualization and alerting.
• Actively support various teams, ranging from Machine Learning projects to full-stack application development, providing DevOps expertise and guidance.
• Ensure the stability and scalability of our infrastructure, playing a key role in the continuous improvement of our systems by exploring alternatives and new technologies for architectural enhancement.

Requirements:

• At least +5 years of experience in a DevOps role
• Proven experience in creating scalable development and integration pipelines using modern CI/CD tools (e.g., CircleCI, GitHub Actions).
• Expertise in deploying Kubernetes-based services using Kustomize, Helm, ArgoCD, or similar tools, along with GitOps practices.
• Strong understanding of Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and visualization.
• Hands-on experience with cloud architectures, particularly Amazon Web Services, and related CI/CD practices.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and web services architecture.
• Experience managing complex infrastructure, including Kubernetes clusters and VPC networking, using Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Proficiency with container technologies, including creating and optimizing Dockerfiles and using docker-compose.

To be qualified for this position, you must have the legal authorization to work in Sweden (work permit or residence card) or be a citizen of the European Union. We are currently unable to provide assistance with this process.
