Electrical engineer - Signal analysis and measurement systems

Background:

Join our clients team dedicated to electrical testing in circuits handling thousands of volts and amperes!

They evaluate results through measurements of electrical current, voltage, water flow, temperature, and more using a sophisticated measurement system. The recorded signals, represented as curves in the time domain, require precise identification and measurement at specific points related to events in the testing process. They also have a CSI (Customer Software Interface), a built-in interface designed for C# in their measurement system. Read below for more info!

Responsibilities:

- Develop C# functions to identify time points and measurement values on recorded signals using a measurement system.

- Utilize identified data in other functions within the measurement system and store values in an SQL database for future report generation.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend requirements and contribute technical expertise.

- Document work effectively, providing clear written instructions for users.

- Create functions and ensure consistency and efficiency in the identification and measurement of specific points on repetitive measurement signals.

- Analyze current system usage, identify needs, and propose/implement functions using C# in the CSI tool.

- Post-implementation, the role includes verifying the accuracy of functions through manual comparisons with the old and new automated methods.

Requirements:

- Proficiency in C# programming language or other object-oriented programming.

- Expertise in measurement systems and signal analysis.

- Structured approach to documentation.

- Beneficial with a background within electrical engineering

- Pedagogical skills for knowledge sharing within the team.

- Ability to analyze system usage, identify needs, and propose/implement solutions.

- Strong communication skills in English, proficiency in Swedish is a plus

Availability: Start date as soon as possible with an understanding of the notice period

Employment type: You will work as a consultant for 12 months before you have the opportunity to transition to employment with our client
