Test Automation Engineer for Automotive Company

For our client, we are seeking a Test Automation Engineer who will help the company continue to develop sustainable transport solutions. You will play a crucial role in advancing the clients progress by designing innovative next-generation technologies with a worldwide impact.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The dynamic team that you will be joining specializes in the development and maintenance of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) rigs at the system level. This specialized area involves comprehensive testing of the functionality of entire vehicles. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing test automation frameworks for the software used in the company's various vehicles.

Your responsibilities will include gaining insight into the different functions you are testing, discussing these functions with developers to understand the full scope, and then creating test cases based on that information. The tests are often run nightly, and you will get the results the following day. After a test has been run, you will analyze the output and determine what action to take based on the result.

Who are we looking for?

Master’s degree in engineering, preferably within physics, math, computer science, or a similar field

• Relevant work experience in a similar role.
• Experience in working with C++. If you have proficiency in C#, it is considered meritorious.
• Experience in working with CANoe
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT:

This is a consulting assignment which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition is that the assignment will result in a permanent position at the client company.
