What's on Offer:

Role: Software Engineer focused on Python-based GUI for commercial data.

Location: A dynamic environment within the Market Intelligence team, collaborating with Pricing, Offer, and Volume teams.

Start Date: Preferably January/February 2024.

Scope of the Role:

- Develop and verify user interfaces for competitor pricing data in the highly competitive automotive industry.

- Utilize both internal and external data to enhance performance steering and decision-making processes.

- Work on projects that make a real impact in understanding and navigating the car industry's challenges.

Your Key Responsibilities:

- Create interfaces coded in Python, ensuring they are user-friendly and effective.

- Work closely with business users to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly.

- Engage in strategic and operational tasks, from pricing to revenue management.

Your Skills and Background:

- A degree in Engineering Physics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.

- Proficient in Python, with a knack for efficient coding.

- Knowledge of Python packages like Pandas, Matplotlib, NumPy, and familiarity with SQL and Snowflake.

- Experience with version control (Git) and general problem-solving skills.

- Bonus: Experience with GUI frameworks and a background in business, economics, or finance.
