What would you do as our new Embedded Test Engineer? You will join a team that works across all ASSA ABLOY Divisions to provide reusable technology platforms for our many embedded products.

You will collaborate with the different stakeholders that are using our technology in different products worldwide, with the mission of helping people feel safe, secure, and experience a more OpenWorld.

The skills and experience you need?

We believe that you are an Embedded Test Engineer who enjoys working with developing and execute test plans and test cases for embedded systems and firmware in an agile environment. You hold a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Software Engineering or similar, but don't hesitate to apply if you have obtained your skills in another way. Ideally you appreciate working in teams and you are a strong believer that we achieve more when working together. You keep up with trends, share knowledge with your peers as well as being curious to learn from others.

Knowledge we consider valuable for the successful candidate:

  • Knowing how to develop and execute test plans and test cases for embedded systems and firmware.
  • Knowledge about automated test frameworks for embedded systems in a CI/CD environment (e.g., Python, Robot Framework, LabVIEW)
  • Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques.
  • Experience in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Linux etc.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken is required.
  • Credential technologies (such as Seos, MIFARE DESFire, etc.), communication protocols (Zigbee, NFC/ISO14443, UWB, Bluetooth), mobile access.
