Test development in Kumla is a part of Ericsson Engineering Unit Hardware, and we have a global responsibility for radio production test development. What you will do

We are now strengthening our sections that work with the move from a node based test system to a distributed and cloud based environment. Our systems are a mix of our own hardware, commercial hardware and a comprehensive set of inhouse developed softwares. Our vision for the future is to also make full use of data and machine learning capabilities. This job requires your involvement in both detailed and architectural solutions and the team is working with both existing as well as future solutions.

What you will bring

We are searching for someone with a university degree in software engineering and/or several years of experience as an engineer/developer in that line of work. The main competences that we are looking for right now are in the areas of programming, data analytics and cloud-technology. We need someone that can help build a distributed test system, applying both embedded and cloud solutions that is also fully in line with all our data sources, hardwares and software. We believe that having experience from the electronics industry in general and test methodology specifically is a benefit.

It is required to be comfortable when it comes to reading and speaking both conversational and technical English. You are skilled, self-motivated and service-minded and you have strong self leading abilities.

Understanding and accepting cultural differences is important since this job will require working with colleagues from different parts of the world.
