As a Senior Game Developer at Piktiv, you’ll be leveraging your experience and expertise to boost and expand our current and future development efforts within our Game Development Services. You’ll be a part of a self organizing development team, helping our client studios to develop their titles together with amazing colleagues.

Who you are

You love the programming craft and always strive to improve your skill in writing great code. You are always excited to try out and learn new technologies and expand your knowledge beyond what you’re already familiar with. As an experienced developer, you have a couple of published titles under your belt, and know what it takes to ship a title. You have earned your battle scars and your trophies, so to speak.

You are not just a developer; you are a leader within your team. Your experience positions you as a mentor to junior colleagues, helping them to grow and excel in their roles. Your ability to guide, inspire, and improve the team dynamic is as important as your technical skills.

You excel in understanding and addressing stakeholder needs and you are able to guide them and other developers through your proposed solutions with ease. You’re used to working in a collaborative environment where communication is paramount.

Who we are

Piktiv is a Game Development Partner Studio, helping our client studios in any way we can. As developers, we are not afraid to tackle the really tricky engineering problems that need to be solved in order for a game to truly shine.

As a Partner Studio, Piktiv has worked with studios such as Coffee Stain, Iron Gate and Stunlock Studios and our client list is constantly growing. Our work varies depending on what a studio needs; from networking, porting, feature development and everything in between. As such, we can provide a wide array of services to our client studio’s and help them focus on what’s most important to them: making their game.

We pride ourselves in being very organizationally lean; every development team is self-organized and knows best how to solve their client’s problem.

- At least 5 years of experience in the industry
- Excellent programming skills
- Exceptional understanding of either Unity or Unreal
- At least 1 shipped title

- Portfolio of previous game titles and/or other projects
- Experience developing mobile games
- Experience developing console games
- Experience with custom engines

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, on location in either Skövde or Örebro
