Software Test Engineer

Who is your future team?
Introducing our exceptional team of software video analytics experts! The Analytics and Platform Test team is dedicated to testing and verifying cutting-edge video analytics applications on embedded products, specifically cameras. They are a remarkable group of professionals who work closely with software developers, fostering a strong and seamless partnership.

You will collaborate closely with two other test engineers as part of your team, engaging in an agile working environment alongside developers. Your primary responsibility will involve validating analytics software for both products and internal tools.

What you'll do here as a Software Test Engineer?
As a software tester, your main objective is to verify the performance of video analytics applications and internal tools. Your tasks will include:

* Script development for automated testing
* Conducting manual exploratory testing
* Analyzing and presenting test results
* Troubleshooting and preparing comprehensive reports
* Active participation in planning, estimation, and retrospective activities within the development team

Who are we looking for/Who are you?
We are in search of a candidate with a few years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate holds a degree in computer engineering or a related engineering discipline that incorporates programming or has acquired equivalent skills through alternative means.

Your experience should encompass both manual exploratory testing and test automation, with a preference for proficiency in Python. Additionally, possessing skills in AI and computer vision is considered an asset.

As an individual, you exhibit openness, humility, and a keen interest in technology. You thrive in a collaborative development team environment, actively contributing to advancing software testing initiatives for continuous improvement and effective day-to-day operations management.

We'd love to hear that you have/are:

* A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent
* Experience or sincere interest in different domains of testing.
* Practical knowledge in network communication, setting up network solutions.
* Skilled in cultivating positive and productive interactions with a diverse range of individuals.
* A keen interest in the intricacies and potential of technology within the realm of embedded systems.
