The Global Technology Area - Verification & Validation (GTA V&V) is driving several major activities within the Autonomous Driving development chain including integration, system verification, data analytics and transport mission.
Safe and seamless operation of Autonomous vehicles is a challenging task and the System Verification team within GTA V&V is playing a key role in ensuring it. We are a small but passionate and effective team. We are stronger than the sum of its parts and ready to tackle the big challenges we have ahead of us. We are looking for your support and contribution to ensure the quality of our Autonomous Driving (AD) system.
Within our innovative AD system, vehicle onboard functions and offboard services propel our vision of seamless and safe autonomous transportation. The offboard cloud services serve as the brain, to orchestrate the autonomous fleet, plan traffic movements and manage production. In tandem, the onboard functions perceive the environment and navigate to the designated destination. The team focuses on ensuring the quality of the AD system behavior with focus on-site control web interface, offboard applications and its interaction with onboard stack.
Your responsibilities
- With the team, you will be responsible for a wide range of quality assurance topics including integration, functional verification, fault tolerance, vehicle orchestration, production capacity and security.
- You will take charge of the requirement review, development of test methods, test automation, creation and execution of test plans.
- With your programming proficiency, you will support the team by conducting code reviews, ensuring code quality and guiding the team for improvements and adherence to best practices.
Your experience
We are seeking a senior test developer with a robust background in software testing and quality assurance
- Who is proficient in Python, Selenium, Virtualization and REST API.
- Valuable experience in test automation, alongside git, bash, and Docker.
- Familiar in working in a Linux environment - Meritorious if you have knowledge or experience in working with connectivity and cybersecurity.
This role requires strong collaboration and quality assurance skills. We're looking for someone with excellent networking and analytical abilities, who can proactively plan and work effectively with team members. Ideally, you're organized, thrive in a dynamic environment that values knowledge sharing and teamwork, and have a passion for innovative technology. A positive, open-minded attitude is crucial for success in this role.
