What Does the Role Entail?

As a system developer within Nexer's .NET group, you'll join a talented group of developers dedicated to enhancing existing software solutions and creating innovative ones using cutting-edge technologies. As a consultant, you'll be employed by Nexer and become part of our .NET Consulting team, but your work will be based at our clients' sites. In our .NET Consulting group, we frequently engage in various activities, from knowledge sharing to team-building experiences. For example, in April 2022, we attended the NDC conference in Porto as a team!

Our assignments encompass a wide range of industries and focus areas, but they all revolve around .NET. Assignment technicalities may involve backend, web, or full-stack development, and your personal interests play a significant role in the projects you'll tackle. You'll collaborate with a supportive team of experienced colleagues and have the opportunity to work with organizations ranging from small startups to global industry leaders.

We view this role as a stepping stone toward becoming an architect or a Scrum Master in the long term.

Your Qualifications

For this position, we seek individuals with a few years of experience in system development, with a primary focus on the .NET platform and C# as your programming language of choice. Whether your expertise lies in backend, web, or full-stack development, what matters most is your passion for system development and your ability to solve problems through code. Ideally, your educational background includes software development from a university or a college of higher vocational studies (Yrkeshögskola in Swedish).

Fluency in English is essential, and Swedish language skills are a valuable asset but not mandatory.

Here are some examples of programming languages and technologies we'd like you to have experience with:

- C# / .NET

- .NET Core

- Microsoft SQL and other common databases

- TypeScript and frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue

- TDD (Test Driven Development) or BDD (Behavior Driven Development)

- Clean Code

- Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)

- Microservices, Docker & GIT
