Individuals that challenge the way we think, lead us down new paths and contribute to solving the biggest challenge of humankind - climate change. Is this you?

Become one of our 34 International Trainees at Vattenfall. Each of the trainee positions is unique, linked to a department within a specific business area and a working location. This means that each position has its own specific responsibilities, challenges and matching profile.

Next to your personal development in this unique position you will be enjoying one year of all we have to offer. Your trainee year will be filled with meetups with your international trainee team with likeminded individuals. You will be meeting up virtually to work on assignments and live during four seminar weeks where you will be visiting our power plants and growing your superpowers with a variety of trainings.

You are our ideal trainee if you are a recent graduate with an academic degree and have maximum one year of work experience, or you graduate before September 2024. You are fluent in Swedish and English. Skills in other world languages can be a merit. You are willing to relocate for possible assignments throughout the organization. And of course, you identify yourself with our principles: active, open, positive and safe.

You will be working in the department CX & Digital Channels at Vattenfall Eldistribution AB and the position is located in Solna in Sweden.

Do you want to join our journey in identifying and mapping how our customers perceive our services, the challenges they face, and opportunities in the ongoing energy transition. Vattenfall Eldistribution AB plays a central role in the ongoing electrification that effects our society. The ongoing energy transformation is resulting in increasing customer interactions across customer channels, placing new demands and needs in our customer interfaces.

CX & Digital Channels is a newly established team tasked with providing Vattenfall Eldistribution AB with an understanding of customer needs, experiences, and challenges. This involves conducting customer journey mapping combined with user research. The team is responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience and collaborating with product owners, development teams, and other colleagues to enable digital solutions meeting the customer needs. The team is expanding in 2024 with individuals skilled in service design, user research, UX design, and product development.

As a service designer you will work with mapping and developing customer journeys and further on assist development teams in designing solutions based on research and customer insights. As a service designer with us, you will have the opportunity to influence and working with establishing a customer centric mindset.

Qualifications

We are looking for a recently graduated service designer to join our team and combining this role with the Vattenfall Group international trainee program. We believe that you are a recently graduated with an academic degree in design.

You are eager to learn and challenge ways of thinking in the ongoing energy transition. As a person you have an agile and flexible mindset to new challenges and find stakeholder relations and management interesting. Your tasks on a daily basis includes working closely with customers, stakeholders and other teams and therefore your communications skills is key, both oral and written in Swedish and English.

Selection period starts after the application period is closed with online tests followed by interviews in February/March.
