UX Designer with Front-End Development, Branding & Content Creation Skills

I'm looking for a UX Designer to join me - yes, it's currently just me at the helm - in an ambitious web/app-development venture. After several years of freelancing and numerous clients, I’m now looking to expand and build a small team. This role is perfect for someone who loves the idea of having a big impact in a small, yet growing setup.

Your Role:

• You'll join in on our major client project, bringing user experiences to life in a meaningful way.
• You'll help to establish our brand's digital presence, starting with our portfolio website.
• If you're keen on front-end development or willing to learn, you'll find plenty of opportunities to flex those skills too.
• As the first UX Designer in our team, you'll have a unique opportunity to grow with the company and shape your role as we expand.
• Occasionally, there may be opportunities to contribute to our digital content, such as publishing blogs or other online materials, enriching our online presence and engagement.

Who You Are:

• You’re passionate about UX design and have some education, real-life experience, or both to account for it.
• You're curious about or have some chops in front-end web and app development.
• HTML, CSS, React, React Native, Flutter, Svelte, and similar frameworks are all meritable.
• You have at least one project that you’re proud of where you can show off your UX skills.
• Comfortable working independently, but also ready to jump into a team (of two, for now!).
• Fluent in English is required, knowing Swedish is meritable but not required.
• Interest in content creation, such as blog writing or digital publishing, is a plus, but not essential.

Education vs. Experience:

While educational background in UX, web development or similar is great, I put more weight on concrete examples of your skills, i.e. a portfolio site or previous projects.
