Senior Backend Engineer

Scayl operates on a remote basis but the founder team is based in Stockholm.

The role

In this role you will be part of a small team of passionate professionals with extensive industry experience. We are looking for you to lead and guide the firm’s development of our technology platform and eventually build a team of your own. We think you are seasoned enough to understand how debt and credit products historically have worked, but not to the extent that you are no longer willing to challenge the status quo.

Who are you?

- Extensive programming experience, especially in Python

- Strong skills in working with AWS cloud based environments

- Excellent academic achievements

- A few years experience at a Fintech lender

- Great communication skills and a true team player

- A ‘get the job done’ and ‘the sky is the limit’ mentality but with attention to detail

Other valued merits

- Experience working remotely with outsourced teams

- Previous experience as a founder or early hire

- Leadership skills
