Senior UX Designer for our client in Gothenburg - Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced UX Designer for our client in the automotive industry. In this role, you will join the Digital Workplace Experience team, which is part of the Digital Workplace area. Your main focus will be on enhancing the user experience of the client's digital workplace, including hardware, software applications, collaboration tools, operating systems, and online/onsite support. The client is undergoing a transformation, shifting their focus from delivering technology to people to improving the user journey. You will collaborate with product managers, technical experts, and other digital experience professionals to advocate for design thinking methods and establish a user perception-driven approach in all aspects of their work.

As a UX Designer, your main focus will be on the Digital department. This department includes various teams such as Global Service Desk, Onsite Support, Knowledge Management, User Access Management, Market Support, and Advanced/VIP Support. Your primary responsibility will be to lead UX efforts in elevating the client's Self-service portal (ServiceNow). This will involve conducting user research, facilitating workshops with stakeholders, prototyping, and evaluating designs.

You will independently drive qualitative and quantitative research, analyze data, prioritize design phases, enhance the findability and usability of the portal, design solutions based on branding and technical capabilities, and continuously evaluate the portal and its hierarchy. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the Digital Workplace Experience team and support others in UX-related tasks, while advocating for a user-centric approach.

Requirements

- 5+ years of UX design experience, including leading and coordinating UX initiatives
- Understanding of ITSM tools, preferably ServiceNow
- Outcome-oriented and able to build trust with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and written English

Meritorious

- Fluent Swedish is highly advantageous
- It is a plus if you have experience working with ServiceNow or similar platforms.
