Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mainframe Developer, COBOL to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Work On:

• Participate in the development of technical requirements and customized solutions within one of the bank’s largest systems, with a focus on COBOL programming.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary agile team in the bank’s asset management train, contributing to programming, testing, and production setup activities.
• Engage in the development of complex system connections, ensuring seamless integration and functionality within the bank’s ecosystem.
• Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of critical mainframe applications, addressing challenges related to scalability, performance, and reliability.

What You Bring:

• Senior-level expertise in COBOL programming, with a strong background in the banking industry.
• Proven experience in developing technical requirements and solutions within a mainframe environment, demonstrating a deep understanding of complex system relationships.
• Ability to communicate effectively and articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating in group settings, fostering teamwork and knowledge sharing to achieve project objectives.
• Meritorious proficiency in other programming languages such as Java, along with experience in converting COBOL to alternative technical languages and solutions.
