Sneakersnstuff (SNS), a global leader in the sneakers industry, started in 1999 from a simple love for kicks. Now, marking our 25th anniversary, were undergoing an exciting e-commerce platform shift.

Tech Lead Role – Overview:

If you’re thrilled to bridge the gap between our development team and technical infrastructure, ensuring seamless alignment with business goals, this role is for you! As a Tech lead, you will oversee hosting, maintain system health, and collaborate with the Digital Product Owner and the team to present optimal technical solutions. Bring your skills in making informed architectural decisions and thrive in our dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities:

• System architecture: Define and maintain e-commerce and app architecture for scalability, performance, and security.
• DevOps leadership: Drive CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and streamline development workflows.
• Infrastructure management: Oversee hosting and maintenance on AWS, Vercel, Cloudflare etc.
• Technical leadership: Act as a technical spokesperson, ensuring alignment with businesses needs and supporting the development team.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with developers and stakeholders for seamless project execution.
• Continuous improvement: Stay updated on tech trends, optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance systems.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a similar role (Tech Lead, DevOps Lead/Engineer, or System Architect).
• Strong e-commerce understanding and skills in BigCommerce, Nextjs, AWS, Cloudflare, Vercel, Node.js, Typescript, React, React native, Android and iOS.
• Devops experience: CI/CD, containerization, and Infrastructure As Code (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Comfortable communicating tech details to non-tech stakeholders.
• Proactive problem-solver enjoying an agile environment.
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or another relevant field.
