What would you do as a Senior IoS Developer?

As a Senior Developer, you will help us to deliver new features and maintain the next generation of smart door locks, that together with alarm systems and surveillance cameras will make peoples homes smarter and safer. You will be working in a cross functional, product development team comprising of product management, backend developers, app developers, UX designers and other technical specialists spanning in various locations globally. You will be instrumental in delivering real products used by consumers globally.

The Senior Developer will be maintaining, updating and evolving the core manifestation of the user experience, the mobile application.

The work is done in a small multi-disciplinary technical team, along with project and product management. We apply a modern approach to the way we work; sprints are planned, stand-up meetings are held to lay out the details and track progress. Backlogs are maintained and we seek to ensure a good balance of new feature development vs maintenance.

You would also:

• Influence technical choices and direction

• Designing the solution with consideration to maintainability, modularity and robustness.

• Following industry standard structures, principles, and processes.

• Building and maintaining subject matter expertise within our mobile application solutions.

• Working in a small team very much involves being hands-on; coding, prototyping etc.

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

• Has several years of hands-on expeirence of IoS software stack, as well as Objective C and Swift,

• Has proven hands-on experience with ReactNative,

• Has some understanding of backend developement, Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, UI design,

• Peferably has some experience in the IoT, streaming or Bluetooth communication or would like to gain it

• Love to work in a team but also has the inner drive to find solutions when you run into challenges with limited documentation or colleagues not having past experience related to the specific challenge

Ideally, you would also have experience working in a multinational company with colleagues in many different countries, with great eye for detail whilst understanding broader context. If you are inquisitive and wiling to continuously improve and grow, this role will be perfect!
