DevOps engineer

Univrses is a 3D Computer Vision and Machine Learning company based in Stockholm, creating high-end technologies for autonomous systems. We work in several different areas, but our main focus is on self-driving vehicles, mobile robotics and smart city development. Our team consists of hard-working and friendly people from all over the world with diverse backgrounds and expert knowledge in computer vision, robotics, machine learning, physics, math, software development and more.

Your role

You will be part of the product team and be responsible for improving the operations pipeline of Univrses' 3DAI City™.

3DAI™ City is a pioneering AI platform that enables actionable urban and highway data to be gathered in real-time. Scalable live maps of roadside environments enable businesses, municipalities, and authorities to make data-driven decisions, optimize their operations, and increase urban safety.

We are looking for a person who wants to contribute to the design, implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure that allow teams to track and improve our product´s performance.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate the rapid and reliable delivery of software.
• Collaborate with different teams of deep learning engineers, computer vision engineers, and data scientists to automate manual processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and operations.
• Implement and enforce security best practices across development and production environments.
• Collaborate with teams to facilitate smooth communication and cooperation.

Who you are

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and configuration.
• Solid understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Jenkins or Github actions.
• Proficient in containerization technologies (Docker).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS).
• Experience with Serverless Framework.
• Experience with infrastructure as code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in working with Agile software development principles.

Bonus points:

• Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience with Slurm and GPU workloads.
• Experience with Python packaging.
• Experience with Cmake.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Understanding of networking principles (DNS, firewalls, port-forwarding, …).
• Security certifications (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) or proven experience.
