Do you want to create technology for the next generation of industry and society? Univrses is now looking for a MLOps engineer in the field of computer vision to join the team in Stockholm!

Univrses is a 3D Computer Vision and Machine Learning company based in Stockholm, creating high-end technologies for autonomous systems. We work in several different areas, but our main focus is on self-driving vehicles, mobile robotics and smart city development. Our team consists of hard-working and friendly people from all over the world with diverse backgrounds and expert knowledge in computer vision, robotics, machine learning, physics, math, software development and more.

Your role

You will be part of the team responsible for the machine learning and deep learning pipeline of Univrses' 3DAI City™.

3DAI™ City is a pioneering AI platform that enables actionable urban and highway data to be gathered in real-time. Scalable live maps of roadside environments enable businesses, municipalities, and authorities to make data-driven decisions, optimize their operations, and increase urban safety.

We are looking for a person who understands that data quality and automation are essential for deep learning and wants to be part of developing the tools to achieve that.

We are looking for a flexible person that can participate in various tasks such as automation, data pipelines, monitoring and logging tools, model deployment, etc. Somebody with a drive to collaborate with machine learning engineers to bring the deep learning networks' performance from "good" to "brilliant!".

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with deep learning engineers to streamline the deployment and scaling of computer vision models in production environments.
  • Implement and maintain automated workflows for model training, testing, and deployment using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with other teams of computer vision engineers to ensure efficient collaboration throughout the data flow.
  • Develop and implement version control strategies for machine learning models and associated artifacts, ensuring reproducibility and traceability.
  • Design and implement monitoring and logging solutions to track and monitor the performance of computer vision models on controlled test sets and in the wild.
  • Leverage your experience with image data to address unique challenges associated with computer vision applications.
  • Optimize and scale ML infrastructure to handle large volumes of image data efficiently.

Who you are

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in Machine Learning Operations, focusing on automating the ML lifecycle.
  • Self-driven with a strong sense of quality and scalability.
  • You aspire to see your ideas put into production.
  • Strong programming skills, especially Python, and proficiency with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Prior experience working with image data and computer vision applications is essential.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS).
  • Solid understanding of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience in working with Agile software development principles.

Bonus points

  • Experience with deep learning frameworks and architectures for computer vision.
  • Experience with Jenkins.
  • Experience with Python packaging.
  • Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with database systems and distributed computing.
  • Understanding of security and compliance considerations in MLOps.
  • Proficiency in Linux, including bash basics and scripting, logs, and systemd services.
