Solution Architects within Order and Integration, Business Solutions Range & Supply,

Are you excellent in transferring business requirements and architecture frameworks into a solution design? Do you want to work in a team of business analysts, solution owners, project managers, business architects and external vendors with solutions related to Order and Integration?

Solution Area Order and Delivery are looking for Solution Architects. Why don´t you come and teach us a thing or two!

The assignment
As a Solution Architect you transfer business requirements, both functional and non-functional and architecture frameworks into a solution design.

You design and document a concrete and appropriate solution design covering process, technology and integration views.

You are responsible to secure an understanding of the solution design to relevant vendor stakeholders and for securing and verifying that the development, done by an external supplier, are following the solution design.

You support service transition activities and handover to operations and provide expertise to secure the daily operation of the solution when needed.
Support and validate the low level design for development activities both within project and releases in cooperation with vendor resources if needed.

Are you the right candidate?
We believe you have solid understanding of testing and of requirements engineering, process and configuration management.

You have knowledge of IT standards, infrastructure and platforms, development concepts, system integrations and processes as well as in software lifecycle management.

You have experience form facilitating, planning and managing workshops and activities.

You have strong social and communication skills, are enthusiastic, driven and structured and have the desire to work in a simple, effective and understandable way based on our IKEA values.

Furthermore, we believe it is beneficial to have good knowledge about Order and delivery related solutions, our roadmap and life cycle management as well as our IT solutions and platforms.

Solution Area Order & Delivery is a part of Business Solutions Range & Supply at IKEA of Sweden. The role of Business Solutions Range & Supply is to:

-Deliver competence to support and develop business solutions
-Have an end to end accountability for solutions, enhancements and projects
-Manage one agreed and steered business solutions agenda in Range & Supply

With business solutions we mean the tools we use to run and develop our business supported by information technology.
Business Solutions Range & Supply consists of approximately 230 co-workers based in different legal units globally all across Range & Supply. We have our main hubs in Älmhult, Helsingborg and Malmö (IKEA of Sweden AB), Dortmund (Distribution Services GmbH), Pratteln (IKEA Supply AG) and Warsaw (IKEA Purchasing Services Poland).

About Solution Area Order and Delivery

Solution Area Order & Delivery supports more than 15.000 users throughout supply chain in the areas of orders, import and export, trade regulation, delivery & customer delivery. Today the order and delivery solution area has a mix of home built solutions, such as CNS or OMS and bought solutions from providers such as Oracle & Descartes, with the ambition to implement common platforms.
