Role Overview:

As a Data Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure critical to Entropia Universe's success. Your responsibilities will include building robust data architectures, optimizing data flow and collection, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accessibility and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines.
• Develop and implement data models and architectures for analytics and game development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize data flow and collection for both real-time and batch processing.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility across the platform.
• This role can be tailored towards Data Science or ML Engineering depending on the applicant's skills and desires.

Examples of skills we value:

• Proficiency in Python or similar languages.
• Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, data visualization and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
