Are you an experienced UX Designer looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for creating beautiful, intuitive mobile and web apps that can be used by thousands of people worldwide? If so, Epiroc is looking for you! 
As a UX Designer at Epiroc, you'll be working in a DevOps team responsible for designing and delivering exceptional customer-facing solutions for the mining, construction, quarrying, and other industries. You'll work closely with product managers, stakeholders, and other members of the design and development teams to ensure that our solutions are easy to use and provide the best possible experience for our customers. 

Your mission 
Your primary mission will be to gather end-user requirements, develop user journeys, wireframes, and mockups, design graphic elements, and build UX design components for developers to implement. 
You'll collaborate with portfolio delivery teams, designers, and front-end developers. You’ll prioritize customer satisfaction as the primary measure of success. 

Your role 
You'll work proactively to find better ways of doing things, improving methods, and ensuring that the quality of the final product meets or exceeds our standards. 
You'll evaluate existing interface flows, suggest improvements, and create UI mockups and prototypes that illustrate the product's functionality and aesthetic. 
Additionally, you'll generate original graphic designs utilizing Figma and other relevant tools. 
You'll analyze user behavior and UI performance through data and user feedback to drive design decisions. Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders and contribute with new ideas that are infused in our culture and products. 

Your Profile 
We believe that you have a university degree in a relevant field or similar with at least 3 years of experience. 
You have proficient English language skills. 
You possess a strong working knowledge of interaction design, design thinking, user-centered experience design, brand identity management, digital marketing, and the creative process. 
You have up-to-date knowledge of current industry standard software for design and prototyping/wireframing like Figma and Adobe Illustrator. You also have in-depth familiarity with the latest trends in user experience. 
You are well organized with a good structure and ability to work in teams as well as independently. 
Previous experience from working in agile DevOps teams and working with Storybook is a bonus. 
You feel empowered by the ability to succeed in an innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization. 
We expect you to have a portfolio of design projects to showcase your level of competence and expertise. 

Location and travel 
This position is based in Örebro (Sweden) and occasional travels will be expected if needed. In case a candidate from a different country applies and is successful, Swedish local terms and conditions will apply.
