Developer/ Test Specialist - Digital Experience

You work in the Digital Experience organization to build the user experience of our future appliance electronics and connected ecosystems.

As a product team member you develop, test and evolve the Appliance Test Bench application, a tool that simplifies and accelerates the test, validation and verification of Electrolux appliances.

You work within a cross-functional and self-managing digital product team that is responsible for all product-related activities from stakeholder collaboration, verification, maintenance, operation, experimentation, research, development and anything else that is required.

You collaborate with other teams both within the Digital Experience organization and outside to maximize the value the Appliance Test Bench resulting from your work.

• Collaborate with the product manager and other team members to identify and formalize product requirements, thus contributing to the product backlog

• Contribute to the achievement of the desired level of quality through manual and automated testing

• Contribute to the development of the product and to its integration with external systems

• Work together with developers, testers, engineering lead, and the product manager with shared responsibility about the product, vitals and team success

• Provide support to users, mainly for smoother adoption and for getting the most value/benefits

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic engineering / Computer science / Information technology

• 3 years of work experience as a Software developer or Test automation engineer

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Proficiency in Python and basic knowledge of C and C#.

• Experience with Web-Interface Development, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap for creating a responsive and user-friendly GUI.

• Entry-level experience with the integration of Web APIs.

• Knowledge of collaboration tools like Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket, Git, and various test management systems (e.g., QMetry, Xray).

• Skills for reverse analysis and code debugging.

• Documentation Skills: Ability to create clear and comprehensive documentation for the tool's usage, configuration, and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with various communication protocols, including SSH, TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, MQTT, and Bluetooth.

• Proficiency in Linux, Windows, Android, and macOS for comprehensive coverage across different environments.

• Understanding Agile and CI/CD principles; knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins will be a plus

• Knowledge of Postman, SoapUI or similar utilities is a plus.

• Previous experience with electronics and microcontroller-based systems is a plus.
