Who are we?
Volvo Cars is a company on a mission; to bring traditional car manufacturing into a connected, sustainable and smart future.
Since 1927, we have been a brand known for our commitment to safety, creating innovative cars that make life less complicated for our consumers. In 2010, we decided to transform our business, resulting in a totally new generation of cars and technologies, as well as steady growth and record sales. Today, we’re expanding our global footprint in Europe, China and the US, and we’re on the lookout for new talent.
We are constantly pushing our own skills and abilities to drive change in the automobile industry like never before. We are looking for innovative, committed people to join us in this endeavour and create safe, sustainable and connected cars. We believe in the power of people and will challenge and support you to reach your full potential. Join us and be part of Volvo Cars’ journey into the future.

You’ve probably heard about our visionary engineer Nils Bohlin who revolutionized safety with the introduction of the three-point safety belt back in 1959, and how we chose to not patent our technology, prioritizing universal safety over profit. From the very outset Volvo Cars has been driven by a commitment to making cars for people who care about other people, who care about the world we live in and the people around us. Our mission isn’t just about building cars; we strive to engineer the safest vehicles on the road, protecting what is important. You and the planet we live in.

This is exactly what guides us in The Front Structure Analyze Team at Volvo Cars Safety Centre. We are responsible for the structural front behavior when it comes to low and highspeed crashes in our current and future cars – the very foundation of safety in our vehicles. And now, we’re happy to share an opportunity to join us as Analyze Engineer for Front Structure development.

If you want to belong to a team of 14 dedicated colleagues, all striving to innovate and create the most advanced and safest technology solutions available, we encourage you to apply!

Together we all ensure the timely delivery of our projects.

What you’ll bring
We believe you have MSc in Engineering, experience within CAE analysis and CAE-tools such as LS-Dyna, Ansa and Meta Post. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

As a person we believe you have good analytical skills and documentations abilities, coupled with a structured way of working. A willingness to contribute to our collaborative culture and truly enjoy working together with others to achieve shared objectives. You are self-driven, result-oriented, flexible and possess a positive attitude, while also maintaining a holistic perspective when seeking the best solutions.

Meritorious Competence:
