The challenge - As an enterprise producing millions of connected appliances each year is already generating massive amounts of data. Your task is to build a team who will build, develop, operate and maintain a data platform that will serve data&AI products and help the different development teams to be able to apply analytics to transform such data into information amenable for machine learning and in-app consumer facing data products both in real-time and as historical data. There are plenty of exciting use cases to be considered!

The team – The Digital Experience Data Product team supports Digital Experience development teams and business functions across the entire company and helps them turning raw data into valuable insights and actions. The data team is a key enabler to support the company’s digital transformation. It takes the role of being the center of excellence for data handling and advanced analytics within the Digital Experience organization.

All about the role:

Being a Engineering Lead within Digital Experience is a role with high expectations. The Data Product Team Engineering Lead is expected to be an expert of the area and to be able to lead a team of developers/data engineers/ data scientists to create data&AI products that is state of the art.

What you'll do:

· Oversee the DevOps aspects of data platform functionalities

· Lead the development, creation and operation of data-driven products for Electrolux Digital Experience teams

· Lead the product development of the products created over time

· Identify and contribute to best practices and design-patterns for ML data transformations

· Collaborate with Data Product Manager and engineering community in order to establish and maintain effective working relationships

· Work in established agile product management framework

Required experience:

· Wide experience of data engineering (ETL, data wrangling, data quality, warehousing, etc.)

· Solid programming experience in SQL and Python, preferably in an Apache Spark setup

· Solid experience of working in cloud technologies (preferably AWS)

· Good understanding of distributed systems

· Good understanding of data structures and database technologies

· Experience with CI/CD and software engineering best practices

· Strong personal drive, fast learner, technology agnostic, pragmatic

· A Master- or Bachelor’s degree in in Computer Science (or equivalent)

Preferred experience:

· Experience of deploying and operating applications on Kubernetes and/or Terraform

· Luigi/Airflow workflow management

· Design and implement Databricks based solutions

Where you'll be:

You will be based at Electrolux office in Stockholm, Sweden.

Alternative location: Warsaw, Poland.
