Qliro is now looking for a dedicated Test Engineer to join the Development team who can contribute to the continuous improvement of our payment solutions and work to ensure that we offer a high quality product to our customers. The position offers an exciting opportunity to challenge and sharpen your skills together with people who share a passion for technology and building a great product. We work according to the SCRUM methodology and in small teams that are responsible for feature development through the process of designing, coding and testing. All teams are cross-functional and have all the competences needed to deliver features all the way to deployment.
Job description
You will help both the development- and the product-team to automate test cases in order to streamline the test- and release- process. From time to time manual testing will be necessary as well.
Common test cases that needs automation includes
• Send web service calls (XML/Soap + REST) – and verify correct/invalid return data.
• Verifying Print/ERP/Bank files to generate and contain correct data.
• Ensuring that accounting verifications are correct, given different input data
• Regression testing before new releases to production environments
• Writing test cases for a newly developed functionality
You will be working in close co-operation with the rest of the Test Team, Product Team, and our IT Development Team, and be a key player in the release process. Additionally, you will develop our automatic testing framework to ensure end-to-end quality across our products.
The ideal candidate
• Knows how to build a testing framework as well as automating test in e.g. C#, Java, Python or similar.
• Is structured, careful and has an exceptional attention to detail
• Has experience from system architecture, system development, and software testing
• Has experience in functional testing, performance testing, and regression testing
• Knowledge in testing methodologies and modern techniques for software testing (good understanding of Automated tools like Selenium and/or Cucumber will be considered an advantage)
• A great team player who likes to work together with other like-minded people. You also have great communication skills, both orally and in writing (English)
• Experience from working with Jira
A strong bonus is experience of payments and/or a sales ledger system(s)
