What the role entails:

- Data Pipeline Development:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using AWS , Octopus, Github or similar, ensuring smooth and secure data transfer between different systems.

- Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to understand data requirements and optimize pipeline performance.

- CI/CD Management:
- Establish and manage robust Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) processes to automate software delivery and ensure reliability of applications.

- Work closely with development teams to integrate CI/CD practices into the software development lifecycle.

- ETL Processing:
- Perform Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes on diverse datasets, transforming raw data into meaningful and actionable insights.

- Optimize ETL workflows for efficiency and reliability, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with data engineering, data science, and analytics teams to understand data requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions that align with business objectives.

- Act as a bridge between development and operations teams to ensure a seamless flow of data through the organization.

- Scripting and Integration:
- Develop and maintain scripts for integration with tools such as Freshdesk and Dynamics CRM , JIRA systems, streamlining data-related processes.

- Create and manage automation scripts to enhance the efficiency of routine tasks and ensure consistency in data operations.

- Source Data Connectivity:
- Connect data from various sources, including but not limited to Firefly, and establish efficient and reliable data ingestion processes.

- Ensure data security and compliance with data governance policies during the connectivity and integration processes.

What we ask of you:

- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on data pipelines, ETL processes, and CI/CD.

- Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Octopus, and GitHub.

- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and integration tasks.

- Experience working with data-related tools like Freshdesk and CRM systems.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
