Senior front-end developer

We want to grow our front-end team at Nexer! With us, you work as a consultant with the main focus on front-end development in JavaScript with frameworks such as React, Angular, VUE etc. and contribute to our group with your creativity and constant desire to find a better, more attractive solution. We are looking for you who are passionate about the technologies around JavaScript and who want to be part of a team where development and competence are in focus.

What does the role look like?

Nexer's front-end team in Gothenburg today consists of about 15 developers who work on various assignments with our customers. We offer a wide range of assignments and therefore the nature of the job can vary. Common to all assignments is that they are long-term, qualified and challenging, while you are guaranteed to have fun at work!

We maintain a high level of competence and many of us have worked for a long time in the front end and there are therefore great opportunities to learn from each other. We usually meet in the office regularly to go through our own projects and discuss the latest in frontend. We always end these meetings by testing new technology or methods that we find interesting. As part of this team, you always get a great opportunity to influence not only which assignment you work with but which techniques you want to focus on and develop within.

Belonging is important to us and we work with this continuously through social activities, skills development and other things that aim to increase well-being within the group. You have close contact with your manager who is constantly working to get you as challenging and developing assignments as possible.

Your background

We believe that you have worked as a front-end developer for at least 3 years and are comfortable with the techniques around JavaScript and have knowledge of relevant frameworks, such as React.js, Node.js or Vue. You find it fun to take on new challenges through various assignments and customer projects.

You probably have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, but if you are self-taught and have several leisure projects to show, we are happy to accept your application.

Your personal qualities are important to us as we want to maintain the atmosphere we have today. Our assignments often have an international character, therefore fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing is a natural part of the work. The consulting assignments are partly in our office and usually with our customers, therefore travel in the local area is part of everyday life.
