DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer

As a Site Reliability Engineer/DevOps, you are responsible for the overall performance and reliability of the cloud infrastructure, sharing responsibilities for security, stability, performance, and cost-effectiveness with the SRE team. Your role includes active participation in product meetings, collaboration with the team on priorities, and the ability to work independently while managing and monitoring your tasks. You excel in professional programming, delivering high-quality code, and actively participating in the entire software development life cycle.

Your expertise includes programming with Python, experience with Django or other Python-based web frameworks, knowledge of Docker and Cloud Native technologies, Linux system administration, TCP/IP network stack, web-related protocols, and experience with IaaS providers. You are familiar with backing services like Postgres, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Elasticsearch, as well as configuration management software such as Ansible and Terraform. Additionally, you have experience with zero-downtime deployment and are proficient with git.

Requirements:

- Proficient in Python programming

- Experience with Django or other Python-based web frameworks

- Knowledge of Docker and Cloud Native technologies, with Kubernetes experience being advantageous

- Good Linux system administration and optimization skills

- Familiarity with TCP/IP network stack and web-related protocols

- Experience with IaaS providers like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud

- Expertise in backing services (e.g., Postgres, Redis, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch)

- Familiarity with Ansible (preferred) and Terraform for configuration management

- Experience with zero-downtime deployment of complex web applications

- Familiarity with git

- Excellent spoken and written English
