Software Architect

You will be responsible for defining & proposing a sustainable software architecture enabling the successful implementation of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, through the different phases of the VALUE ENGAGEMENT. Contribute to the transformation path toward an integrated Global Solution Architecture definition, enabling the customer to achieve his business objectives leveraging 3DEXPERIENCE platform Industry Process Experiences. All along the VALUE ENGAGEMENT phases, provide software expertise to ensure the feasibility of solution and the integration of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform in the customer IT Landscape.

Role & Responsibilities

· During early stages of the VALUE ENGAGEMENT, work with the solution architects to bring software expertise, feasibility studies, sizing and recommendations on customer projects.

· Define or review the workload, the tasks, the target schedule, the necessary hardware and software resources

· Define the required Project Development Environment and lead the definition of the Development Quality Plan.

· Understand customer business requirements, scenarios, user cases, user experience needs and Data Migration needs on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform

· Work together with Infrastructure Architect, Solution Architect and Project Manager to secure projects deadlines.

· Provide on customer new requests and scope changes the impact analysis, sizing and planning modification.

· Understand the specification dossier as reported by global solution architect and translate them into detailed technical specifications.

· Support/contribute to development activities, including investigation, design, coding, unit & functional testing.

Qualifications/Experience

· Degree in Engineering or Advanced Sciences

· Good analytical and problem solving skills are mandatory

· Knowledge of 3DS technologies, Data Model & Data Migration methodologies like DBDI, xPDM etc.

· Experience in a Software Expert / Software Architect role

· Experience on PLM implementation/deployment

· Knowledge of 3D Experience customization using Java, CAA, EKL, Web Services, MQL etc.

· Knowledge of Software version management tools like GIT, SVN

· Experience in V5 data model and VB Scripting is advantageous
