About the Role

As a Software Engineer at Telavox and the Connectivity team, you will play a crucial role in influencing the design, implementation, and evolution of our cutting-edge communication platform. Our team's primary focus is portings, i.e. ensuring that end users have a smooth transition when switching operators. You will be programming, and working with relational databases and advanced technologies to contribute to the success of our projects.

In this role and team, your ownership is prioritized and our goal is to enable you to make decisions and pave the way forward. This should of course be a collaboration by the team, but you can expect to have a significant impact on our decisions and direction. We have an exciting journey at hand and will focus on decoupling from our monolith and introducing tons of new technology and new architectural designs.

Your expertise will be crucial in solving complex technical challenges and in steering the technological direction of our services. Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and enhancing features within our SaaS platform, ensuring high performance and responsiveness

- Leading by example in writing clean, testable, and efficient code

- Participating in code reviews and mentoring junior engineers

- Collaborating with product management and other stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements

- Contributing to continuous improvement by proposing new technologies and practices

Who You Are
Success in this role demands a blend of technical prowess, a collaborative spirit, and a continuous improvement mindset. We’re looking for someone:

- With a solid foundation in software engineering principles and a track record in Java, My SQL, JSP, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.

- Who is a problem-solver at heart, able to tackle complex challenges with innovative solutions

- With great communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

- Eager to learn and adapt, staying updated of industry trends and best practices
