The company provides products and services that enhance people's living safety and security. Examples include barring service of lost cards, ID cards and alarms. The company is a part of an international corporation within security and everyday safety services, operating in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. They currently have over 1 million customers, and continue to grow.

The IT Department supports operations in Sweden, Finland and Norway with system operations, applications, project, service desk and BI. Today the company has 40 databases. They are now seeking a Database Administrator to be responsible for the database administration. It's a new role, reporting to the Head of Information and Data Services. As the database administrator (DBA) you are responsible for database management and performance. The role is wide and your responsibility is to ensure the maintenance and development of the company's databases. This includes areas such as optimization, support, developmental projects and security management. You will be given much responsibility, but you are also entrusted with a lot of freedom in managing. You will work closely with other departments of information and operations, to optimize what is best for the company. You’ll be stationed in the Stockholm offices, but are given the authority to make decisions on travel to other Nordic countries. The set goal is that you succeed in your role.

Profil:

- Complete training in computer engineering, computer science or similar
-Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a DBA
- Extensive experience of SQL server 2012
- T-SQL
- Open source and/or Oracle (meritorious)
- ITIL (meritorious)
- SSIS, Postgres, DWH, BI (meritorious)
- English
- Swedish (meritorious)
