Backend/Embedded Linux Developer

Would you like to shape the future of IoT Networks for Smart Cities in a growing organization ? The R&D team is a diverse multi-site team currently consisting of twelve engineers working on embedded software, our Linux IoT gateway, our cloud solution (backend/frontend) and Android apps used for configuration and diagnosis in the field. The team is really busy sparking life into our next generation hardware and really needs more hands to get all the new features implemented. The team is expected to grow significantly during the coming years.

We are looking for an embedded linux developer to strengthen the team and contribute to the development of our IoT-gateway solution and the integration to the cloud backend.
Who are you?

You hold a degree (B.Sc., M.Sc.) in software engineering or equivalent via relevant experience

You love coding and thrive in a team oriented environment, where collaboration and code review are part of the daily routines

You like working with embedded devices and wireless communication

You have experience developing embedded software and/or Linux software, using APIs to communicate with the backend

You like writing efficient code, and thrive when adding new features or optimizing existing ones

You have used tools supporting Continuous Integration and Delivery

You take ownership, have a creative mind and like coming up with elegant solutions to technical problems

You are comfortable working in English, other languages are definitely a plus
