QA Engineer (Financial Systems)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Quality Assurance Engineer to join one of our core teams within Business Information Systems. Working in an autonomous team with a clearly defined mission, as part of the Partner squad you will take full responsibility for your own part of Spotify?s financial ecosystem. You will help build a scalable, quality driven solution to support our Partner sales, invoicing and payment process. The ?Quote-to-Cash? process will encompass SalesForce, a new Partner sub-system which you will help us build and Spotify?s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application.

What you?ll do

Develop a deep understanding of Spotify?s Partner business processes

Be able to comprehend and communicate effectively, financial and accounting logic within the Partner flow

Drive the quality agenda within the team

Work with high-volume data traffic which can be transformed by multiple, complex business rules

Design, develop and deploy a test infrastructure that will support end-to-end verification of the Partner business flow

Create manual and automated tests to cover the entire business flow

Integrate and operate with existing Spotify infrastructure, toolset and deployment pipelines

Who you are

You are experienced with Java development and understand how testing is performed in that ecosystem

You have a proven quality mindset

You have worked with complex business processes

You know and care about continuous delivery and automated testing

You are happy to create and execute manual tests as required

You are used to working with large datasets and enjoy data modelling and analysis using tools such as SQL and Excel

You are very enthusiastic and welcome challenges
Ideally you also have exposure to financial or accounting applications
