Hey! Have you ever wondered what fascinating insights can be derived from a vast pool of connected vehicles? How could it be used to lead the charge to transform the future of electrification through data?

If this sounds like you - then you might be the perfect fit for our creative, diverse, and dynamic team with a very mixed background. What unites us is the ability to solve problems with data and finding innovative solutions to new problems.

We are part of the Sales & Marketing organization at Scania. The world of transport and logistics is electrifying rapidly, and Scania is facing the biggest shift in our history. Our target is to take a leading role in the transformation by introducing new tailor-made products, services, and sustainable transport solutions.

We are working within the area of e-Mobility analytics, working both with our end customers to describe their operations in an electrified world – but also cross-functionally within the company, using our vast pool of connected vehicle data to create strategic insights.

Who are you?

Right now, we are looking to strengthen our competence within data science. You will work as a part of the team, analyzing data from our connected vehicles and transform it into actionable insights. Your focus will be to create a structured approach for our concepts, and take a leading role in developing and setting up our cloud based environments.

In order to do this, you will probably need

- an engineering degree within system/computer science or similar

- proven experience (minimum 3 years) in data science, business analytics, or a similar role

- understanding of data technologies, including cloud solutions and big data platforms

- basic insight in artificial intelligence and machine learning, with a focus on sales and marketing applications

- proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R and SQL, and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

- excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically

- exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable business insights

Of course, what you know is really important, but who you are is also a key aspect. To feel at home in our group, we think you should have

- an explorative mindset

- a self-going approach, with a strong ability to take and complete your own initiatives

- a conscious drive for spreading the message on data to other cross-functions

- an inspiring and inviting attitude

- a liking for working in a still developing environment

- an openness for new perspectives and solving problems as a team

What we offer

You get the chance to try out new ideas and creative solutions within the framework of e-Mobility analytics. You will become part of an organization that is still defining the future of working with electric vehicles from a sales & marketing perspective. This means a lot of freedom, but also a lot of individual responsibility.

The job offers flexible working arrangements, allowing you to balance your professional and personal commitments effectively. As one example, we have an office close to Hötorget complementing our main site in Södertälje. A hybrid work setup is a natural part of our way of working.

In today's dynamic workforce, professional development is crucial, and this role offers ample opportunities for growth and advancement, ensuring you stay ahead in your career.
