Ericsson Home Subscriber Server is expanding and needs SW Developers (C++) with at least 3 years of experience of C++ SW design and C++ SW architecture development. The main tasks are to participate, drive and evolve the SW design and architecture development both from within teams and on product level. This includes leading and performing system studies and breakdown of product requirements into SW design and system architecture development blocks that the teams implement in an agile way.

HSS is a real time telecommunication system that facilitates subscription handling within any access technologies. UDM implements the 3GPP HSS, providing capability of managing subscriptions in Circuit Switch, Packet Switch, IMS, LTE and WLAN networks domains. The HSS is a master user database that supports the IMS network entities that actually handle calls. It contains the subscription-related information, performs authentication and authorization of the user, and can provide information about the subscriber's location and IP information, similar to GSM HLR & AuC

We work in a lean and agile environment, where the candidates are expected to influence and make a difference in HSS SW product design. The daily operation will be performed within a cross-functional development team.

Our teams consist of members that are T-shaped and flexible to perform different tasks such as design, function test, system test and system management in order for HSS to develop features in the most efficient way.

The HSS department is part of PDU User Data Management in DU Core Networks, BU Networks. The HSS product is developed in close co-operation with units in Madrid, Shanghai and Poland.

Due to this highly developed communication and team co-operation skills are of course vital, this to ensure close cooperation between teams and colleagues in Stockholm, Madrid, Shanghai and Poland.

Additionally you should be genuinely interested in all aspects of software development.

You should have a positive attitude, strong drive and a positive attitude towards embracing changes and WoW development.

Qualifications

Required Competencies:

- MsC in Computer science or Electrical engineering,
- More than three years of experience of object oriented development C++ in Linux development environment

Good to have Competencies:

- Experience in defining SW architecture
- Experience in System studies
- IP protocols, e.g. SIP, SNMP, H.248 and associated transaction oriented development
- HSS & IMS & User data management
- Ericsson specific areas: TSP/Dicos TTCN-3, CBA
- Experience in working Agile Scrum, Kanban etc
