We are looking for a Test Developer to join us in our ambition to deliver top class connectivity products and solutions to a global market.
You will work in our Development department and be responsible for Test Development, to drive the development forward. The role will involve both internal and external delivery ownership.

The position is primarly based in Icomera´s headquarters in Gothenburg.

The ideal candidate for the position has three to four years of experience from the role as Test Engineer, preferably from the IT, Telecom, software or hardware industry. Experience from HW development is advantageous.

The role as a Test Developer includes taking care of:

• Development of test environment with test tools and test matrixes
• Functional tests
• Documentation in a structured way
• Support other units within Icomera

We are looking for you, who has a positive attitude and ability to learn quickly in the areas below.

We believe you have:

• Excellent knowledge of Linux
• Experience of Bash, Python
• Excellent language skills, fluent in Swedish and English
• Interest in electronics
• Education to a degree level, preferably in a computer science or applied physics related discipline
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt
• Strong interest in scientific methods
• Passion for test methods
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Rudimentary knowledge of C++ and Ruby on Rails is a plus
• Good at multitasking and managing processes in a fluid business-driven environment
• Highly organized self-starter who can prioritise tasks to deliver high quality results according to demanding timelines
