Project Leader - Vehicle Interaction Systems

The group Vehicle Interaction Systems within Driver Interaction & Infotainment currently exists of 14 people. Vehicle Interaction Systems is responsible for the electrical system solution of HMI across the vehicle for all features that require information to the user. We have a high complexity where we work with different departments that explains how the system works and what the customer should be able to do. We then build the customer interface and logic for the vehicle functions in the main display and then test our solutions.
As Project Leader within the group Vehicle Interaction Systems, you are responsible for the in-time delivery, balance resources and track cost. Your project team consists of system engineers, interaction designers and test engineers. You will Lead the team, together with the Subsystem Responsible and assure that the deliveries are done in time and according to the order agreed upon. As part of our team you will establish and develop a wide personal network within Volvo Cars. You will get access to long term development opportunities in a continuously growing field where you have a direct influence on customer satisfaction.
Main responsibilities
* Coordinate a cross-functional team and plan the work in order to assure project deliveries
* Secure the final product through quality assuring actions such as verification planning
* Lead team meetings with the supplier and the internal team
* Take lead on discussions, both internal and external regarding project status, changes, cost etc.
Required qualifications
* At least B.Sc. degree in engineering
* Previous technical experience
* Experience from project management
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Driver's license, B-level
