Expert IT Developer, Collateral

This is a great opportunity to be at the centre of a strategic important area in Nordea! We are looking for an Expert IT Developer who wants to be part of building the culture and frameworks for the new Collateral team. This position contains a high level of solution architecture, solution design and interaction with our business stakeholders.

The position we offer

Collateral is a part of Capital Efficiency and we focus on collateral management. Capital Efficiency provides applications services to optimise capital allocation in Nordea. As a valued partner we deliver on the top prioritized business investment themes including balance sheet optimisation and process efficiency.

Capital Efficiency is responsible for supporting the following business services:

- Provision & Loss
- Debt Collection
- Collateral Management
- Limit Management
- Balance Sheet Management analysis

As an Expert IT Developer you will support business with solutions of high quality to build customer relationships in the digital channels and optimise capital.

Among your responsibilities, you'll find driving the system lifecycle management within Collateral as well as incident, problem and change management to ensure a robust, scalable and up-to date business environment.

You will provide technical vision and leadership and define best practise within own area of expertise to enhance technical capabilities and solutions. You implement and govern architectural principles, best practices and common change initiatives in Collateral to secure high quality in IT solutions in collaboration with the architects in your area. Balancing the vision and leadership with hands on deliveries is an art you master!

We work in a Nordic environment which means that you must expect some travel.

The qualifications you need

We believe that you have a social approach and team work is important to you where you proactively offer support and feedback to colleagues and contribute to a positive and efficient collaboration. To succeed in your role, you need to team up with Nordea colleagues as well as external partners to facilitate agile application development processes to improve quality and time to market. You have the ability to find the right level and type of communication to our various stakeholders.

We expect you to be skilled in Oracle Service Bus (OSB), Oracle BPEL, Java, scripting, XML, xslt and xsd programming. You are well versed with integration design patterns as well as process flow design and composite service design. If you also have knowledge about deployment and integration test automation and Java Web/REST service development, you will be able to put those skills to good use.

You have solid experience from agile development and your English communication skills, both written and spoken, are excellent.
